Fiona Jones practised Yoga in Canada where she used to live and has trained with YFNI Belfast (500 Hours plus), Yoga Biomedical Trust London ( Yoga Therapy Foundation Course ) and Yoga Buddies N.I. She has taken courses in Positive Psychology (Sivananda Centre London), Trauma Sensitive Yoga (Yoga Outreach Vancouver), Yin Yoga ( Norman Blair, London) and Therapeutic Mindful Yoga ( Solterrano, Spain).
She believes the benefits of yoga should be accessible to everyone and offers classes workshops and ‘one to one’ for all ages and abilities. Along with her regular classes, Fiona also teaches in schools and works with a variety of community groups.
She attempts to create a haven from today’s competitive society by encouraging everyone to work at their own pace. She teaches gentle mindful hatha yoga with an emphasis on breath-work and relaxation.
On a personal level, she found yoga helped her through a time of tremendous stress and is eager to pass on those benefits to others.
